The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme 2026-27 is an initiative to support the higher education of students belonging to economically weaker sections. Designed to empower students across India, this scheme ensures that deserving minds are not deprived of education due to a lack of financial resources.
For the academic year 2026-27, the portal has been updated to accept new applications. Students studying in Classes 6 to 12, undergraduate (general and professional) courses, and diploma/polytechnic courses are highly encouraged to apply.
Benefits
Selected scholars for the 2026-27 batch will receive financial assistance to cover their tuition fees and related academic expenses. The disbursement structures are as follows:
- Classes 6 to 12: Up to ₹12,000 or 80% of tuition fees (whichever is lower).
- Diploma / Polytechnic Students: Up to ₹15,000 or 80% of tuition fees.
- General Undergraduate Courses: Up to ₹20,000 or 80% of tuition fees.
- Professional Degree Courses (Engineering, Medical, etc.): Up to ₹50,000 or 80% of tuition fees.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Tata Pankh Scholarship 2026-27, applicants must fulfill the following mandatory criteria:
- Must be an Indian national currently residing in India.
- Must have secured at least 60% marks in the previous academic qualifying examination.
- The annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹2.5 Lakhs (₹2,50,000).
- Must be currently enrolled in a recognized school or college for the 2026-27 academic session.
- Children of employees of Tata Capital & Buddy4Study are not eligible.
